Louisiana Red Beans & Rice

COOKING DIRECTIONS :

  1. Pre-cook 1 – 1 ½ lbs. of sausage or ham in a 4 qt. saucepan.  Ensure meat is thoroughly cooked (to 165˚F).
  2. Bring 3¼ cups of water and 1 tbsp. of butter or margarine to a boil.  Add LA Fish Fry Red Beans and Rice Entrée Mix. Stir well.  Boil for 2-3 minutes.  Reduce heat to low.
  3. Cook covered for 25-30 minutes, stirring often.  Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes before serving.    Enjoy!
